Looks good.
It sounds interesting. Can I get some more info?
Did you get to design the graphics?
Are there very many places that will do a wrap?
How long does a wrap last?

I bough the graphics from Mod Pro
www.moproauto.com
Yes I found a absolute TON of places in Cincinnati That do the wraps.
Check local printing companies
If properly taken care of they should last 5-10 years. The wrap is 3mm thick (about 3 sheets of paper)
It can be waxed (not buffed) and washed with a NO TOUCH car wash.
The vinyl is made by 3m
Cost: The quotes i got were between $3800 and $1500.00
The more complex graphic design can drive the price up.
I payed $1500.00 total with installation.

Nice. With a car cover, it should last even longer. Rock chips will suck, but you can just rip off a section and throw a new one on.

1mm=.0394 inches. One piece of paper=.003 approx. Therefore if the wrap is 3mm its about an 1/8 of an inch thick or approx 40 paper sheets thick.]

Why didn't you go the carbon fiber look? I considered it for my 'vert's hardtop, and may still try it.
