Sure if you want a Bubba vette. Take it off right, and make it look good.

I guess you haven't tried to change the spark plugs yet.
There is one lesson that you'll learn, nothing is easy with a C4. NOTHING!

Well, except putting the key in, giving it a twist & turn on the perma-grin.

Removing it won't get you to the ECM.
Remove the lower footwell panel, slide in on your back and look up. Remove the two 10mm head screws and slide the ECM towards your face.

It's your car, but I'd leave it alone. It's one of the neat features of the '84-89 C4's.

IMHO the bread box looks like the generals after-thought.

Look at the installation! Cripes, the kids installing stereos at WalMart do a better job than the production line did on this abortion!

Like you said, "it's your car".....

Removing mine was one of the best things I did to my car. The dash looks so much better.

I think the dash looks "generic" with just a flat panel in place of the breadbox. Most people can tell something is different from the factory dash when they sit in the passenger seat. Way too big of a flat dash panel in my opinion. Buy hey, it's what the owner likes is all that matters.
