He said it passed CA smog "last time". There is no way this car could have passed CA smog with those mods. Maybe "last time" was 10 years ago before anything was done to it.

Actually Bob there were. No not this car nor from GM, they were from a little shop run by a guy named Dick Guldstrand.. DG drove Vettes for Roger Penske in the 60's and then started modding for the public in the 80's. Very neat story. http://www.guldstrand.com/mrcorvette.asp
I doubt this is one of Guldstrand's GS80's but you never know. The guys VetteTech story may be based on them doing some work to the car. He has already thrown them into the story, Callaway, and maybe Guldstrand as well. Might as well attach as many famous names as possible to entice extra dollars out of the unsuspecting.

And yet his own 'Auto Check' history report says 194,157 as of 2007.
It's interesting that the history doesn't go back any further than 1998 with a reported mileage of 113,949.
