interior lights?
1985 corvette. stock.
any schematics for the interior lights? the lights in my corvette are not lighting when the doors are open. only way to turn them on is to turn the light ****.

Does the "door ajar" indicator light up? If not my first check would be the door jamb switches.
Do the rear compartment lights come on when the hatch is opened?

You could have a bad courtesy light delay module (it's on page 8A-114-2 of Agent86's schematics). The transistor on these guys gets really hot and fails.

There is a link in there to an article that pmihaltian wrote on how to fix it. Another option is to replace the module with one made by Willcox. There are two versions of the Willcox module. One keeps the delay and the other eliminates it.
