*listens as suddenly there is noise of hundreds of floor jacks and creepers dragged into garages across the US*

Seriously though, that's pretty cool! It's so awesome to see the attention that was put in these cars. I can't wait to have a look around under mine now!

I have seen a date in that location on mine and confirmed it when I had the dash out.

Reminds me of the "Kilroy was here" story. Turns out Kilroy was an inspector for Navy ships under construction and drew his picture with a date to show he inspected that area.

Yeah, wouldn't these sig's be inspection signatures? The born date is on the door sticker that list tire pressures.

Seeing yours reminded me about trying to get mine down, again. Sadly 26 year old paper is not very cooperative. Got it down is about 6 pieces.

She was sold at a Los Angeles GM dealer

Found this 1 of 80 scratched onto the convertible top hatch. I’m still puzzled today as to its exact meaning. Thought the car might have been the 80th manual tranny vert at that production time??

I recently found a build sheet in my '90 ZR-1 in the area in front of the tank. I didn't want to tear it so I just left it.
