I keep mine off during dry weather driving. It's really meant for slick, wet or snow covered roads. Using on dry roads and driving aggressively can be bad news. If the rear is hanging ten and your driving technique is throttle steering, the ASR kicks in and points you in the wrong direction. Can you say "Hello guard rail".
I'll give you a little demo next meeting if we can find an empty parking lot.
ASR keeps the rear wheels from spinning. That's all it does. some try to use it like an Active Handling system, go figure.
BTW - You still want to trade the console emblem for the book?
I keep the book in my car, so next time we meet remind me.
The purpose of the ASR is to make the pugs harder to change!
It also makes the BOSE look better. Thats is they're both junk! But the ASR works. Kinda. You can turn it off but it has a mind of its own.
The Bose and ASR are only bad things about a LT-1.
How it works doesn't matter. Its junk!
