Default Sunvisor trouble...

I ordered a new set of sunvisors for the 84 vette that I sold about a month ago. I went to put them on for the new owner (friend of mine) the driver side fit perfect, but the passenger side will fit, but the problem is the connector for the light is wrong. The new one has a small black connector and the connector on the car is a white bigger connector. What can be done to correct this problem or is there a direct replacement for the 84 with right connector or is there a fix for this? Any advise would be appreciated..

Maybe you got the wrong year?
Can you do a bubba and splice the old connector on the new wires?

When I bought them they said would fit 84-96. The only place that has certain years like 84-87 is MidAmerica and I think Wilcox other than that all say 84-96 on the lighted mirror. Maybe others will chime in on it. Now for the "bubba splice" the owner and I talked about it, but want to find a solution before we do that..

I wouldn't splice a thing. Send it back and get the correct one. I replaced my sunvisors this year and everything went together perfectly. JMHO

The connector is a two wire orange and black in to a white connector for the 84. The connector on the new visor is a black wire, but looks as though it is split going into the smaller black connector on the wire. What would be the appropriate way to splice the wires can you use butt connectors or another type of connector.
