I have a 1994 LT1.
Just recently after an oil change my Speed is way off, at 70 it seems I may be going 35-40 MPH.
Anyone ever have this happen?
Thanks in advance!

I'd take it back and have them look at it, maybe the speedometer cable got loosened somehow while they were under there? They shouldn't charge you for it!
The way I am reading your original post is that when the speedometer says you are going 70, it feels like you are going 35/40, correct? So your speedo is overstating the actual speed.
I think some of the previous replies would lend itself to understating the actual speed, i.e. gear failure/cabel loose.
I am not that familar with your year model but someone out here should be able to help. I do remember many years ago I had a Trans Am that would leak auto trans fluid and when it was low, the speedo would soar up but the car would just barly accelerate. Does your car have automatic trans? Maybe check the fluid, a streach, but maybe. Good Luck!
