C4 Carpet

My apologies if this has been discussed before. I did a search and couldn't find an answer to my issue.

Recently my heater core on my 1994 sprung a leak. Before I could get home, I had anti-freeze all over the passenger side carpet.

I've tried to clean it, but it just won't work... so, while I have the heater core being replaced, I thought I'd have new carpet installed.

Since I'm not a wealthy man, I found a passenger side piece of carpet the color I need for a 1993 on ebay. Will the passenger floor board carpet from a 1993 fit in a 1994? Logic tells me it will, but I thought I'd check with you guys.

It should be the same. You can go to one of the vendors and check what they sell to get the years of application to be sure, but I'm pretty sure you'd be good.

I think that the cut of the carpet changed between 93 and 94. The 94 has more of a plush cut as opposed to the earlier cut pile?

I think you'll be safe, and any slight differences won't even be noticed.
Just don't go for any 70s **** carpeting.

94 went to "truVette" style carpet, which is a finer material. However, there's so little of the footwell carpet exposed, between the seat and the floormat, that it's essentially a non-issue.

My thinking also. By the time I buy mats, the floor carpet will hardly exposed.
