I'm for doing what you like to YOUR car. I plan on adding a black GS style stripe down the center very soon. I WOULD NEVER say it was a GS. It's not, and never will be.

Anyone that takes a car and tries to say it's something it's not is just :U !

Anyone that takes a car and makes it into something they enjoy and is different from all the rest is :D :yesnod: :D  !

I'll tell you what makes less sense than building a GS clone and being called a troll.
It's paying an arm and a leg for the real deal because it's a collectors item and because you really like the way they look.
Then taking it to the road courses, autox, drag strip and beating the living crap out this collector vette that you just payed an arm and a leg for. And then one day running it into a wall and then doing repairs. All because you you don't want to be called a bonehead by others for having a clone that you would cost less and you would worry less about wrecking. People should not be slammed because they can not afford the real deal and / or are smarter to build one for racing so if it's wreck who cares.
Well, I guess if you $$$$ it does not matter. You can buy a lambo and run it into the wall, it would not affect you financially at all. Most of us don't have that kind of money. Like I said in another post, I would build one if I wanted the GS look
and planned to race in it. I would not lie to people and tell them it's a real GS since I would not be building a GS to make up for certain other short comings. :D
Funny how us humans always put material things like a hunk of steel, fiberglass, plastic above other humans feelings.

Of course if you can buy a real GS for a the price of a standard vette, that would be perfect. I'd take that abd boy on the track anyday.

 :D
