Can't believe it !! 5 weeks ago I flushed my cooling sytem on my '92 Vette. When filling the sytem with fluid I got the optispark wet. The car would not start after a couple tries for several days . Today I was contemplating fixing myself our having it fixed both $$$. I thought I'll try one more time and WOW!! My Vette started right up and drove perfectly after as I stated sitting for several weeks. Has anyone had this expeience I was shocked it started today but very very grateful. Is it the fact that it takes that 50/50 antifreeze fluid mix a long time to dry or did I just get plain Lucky ??

I used to work with an ex USAF mechanic. His favorite phrase was, "It snarted, farted and started!"

I'm glad you got it to start after the dreaded opti bath.

I got a kick out of that quote. That's what we used to say about the F-111's and B-52's.
