Transmission

Hi guys as you can see I'm new here and looking for advice on the auto transmission from a 1984 corvette
1st are they 4 speed ???
2nd is the tranny likely to be a 700r or 700r4 ???
3rd is anyone using a B&M shifter if so which one are you using ???

1) Yes
2) 700R4
3) Using the stock console so I can't help.

Thanks for the info I've just seen on the B&M website that the megashifter will fit the 4 speed auto box .
Is there a difference between the 700r and 700r4 transmissions do you know ???

Was looking at her website and the mega shifter will work with the tranny there's a Blocker pin that needs to be removed for the 4 speed gm transmissions
