help.censor problems
i have an 86 convertable my tranny died i just got a new jasper.my service engine light keeps coming on and off.i checked codes it says an o2 censor and the speed censor (codes 13,24)ive had the tranny in itsince feb.it just started this.could a o2 censor cause the speed censor to trip if so which one and were are they how can i test them if possible.the speed censor seems to be working my dash reads mph but ive had water damge and cluster doesnt all read 100% i resoldered all joints on chip board it works better but mph washed looking and oil & battery dont read whole numbers other than that everything seems ok.and tach seems perfect.any help appreceated

Speedo (VSS ) signal goes to the dash (speedo ) first then on to the computer so your dodgy dash may be at fault and not passing the signal on
