I just went thru this on my 93. Your best bet is to get them from a dealer. They are about the only ones that will fit every time. I kept my old ones and I will be replacing the inserts soon, this way I have a spare set and can change them when I need to without being reamed by dealer retail pricing. There is a supporting dealer on the forum that gives members good pricing, can't remember his name and I haven't dealt with him but I have only heard good things about him.
Good information, and good timing! I had to use my wipers the other day and they would hardly make two wipes in a row without colliding :mad Not only is this irritating, frustrating, and embarrassing, but during one collision, the wiper arm fliped out and put a nice chip in the paint on the edge of the hood :cry . My 88 never did this!
Supposedly, there are GM replacements that are redesigned so they don't collide (haven't had to replace mine yet). P/N are: arm, L: 10288071, R:10288072...blades, L: 22154985, R: 2215368. Got this info off the forum months ago...hope it's correct. Pricing s/b around $13.93 each, arms, and $14.45 ea, blades. Hope this helps.
