I'm assuming you're talking about adding a picture (or logo etc) under your user name on the left hand side on the column. Just click on 'User CP' then 'Edit Profile Picture'. Select 'Option 2 - Upload Image From Your Computer' and select the image you want to upload.
*Note - it has to conform to the size limits imposed by CF*.
You may have to resize the picture you want or just go take another picture with your camera settings set to minimum.

If you're trying to post pictures to your message, I use http://photobucket.com/ for that.

Not a dumb question. Couple of days ago I asked the same question. lol.

I was told that it be best you create an account through photobucket.com. Don't worry, it's free. Once you do, begin uploading your photos there. After you upload photos, you will be given certain codes that you can copy and paste into forums/threads. The one you will be needing is the "IMG Code." Copy and paste the code where you usually type your message thread. When you paste all you will see is the code. Once you "submit reply" your post THEN you should be able to see your picture as well as everyone else.

Hope this helps!

Also if you want to post pictures in a post, use micro soft paint and reduce the size in the stretch and skew setting by 50% and pictures will post with no problem.
