hi all after 18 years my starter went bad how hard is it
to replace one in a 1993 auto? and aprx. how much$ for a new
one ? thanks m kraz

You're in luck there is one for sale here in the for sale section. Not a hard job at all, just make sure to disconnect the battery before starting the removal process.

IMO, I would have the original rebuilt. It shouldn't cost more than 50-60.00 bucks, and it tends to be better, plus you get to keep your original number matching part, if you're it that kind of thing.
