The 454 came out in 1970 and used in the following.
1970–1976 Chevrolet Caprice
1970–1975 Chevrolet Chevelle
1970–1975 Chevrolet Monte Carlo
1970–1975 Chevrolet El Camino
1971–1972 GMC Sprint
1970–1974 Chevrolet Corvette
They also used this engine in their truck line

Since no C4 left the factory with a 454 (or any other big block), I am not sure you meant to post that question here.

I need the id code info from the stamp codes (year and vehicle installed in) so I will know about what year and what is was in before I start "dealing" with any future seller.
I posted on the C2-C6 forums...just in case someone has the info!
