.. ok so i decided to lower and upgrade my suspension of my car... i made my own plate and toe rod assembly out of heim joints, threaded ends tubing, ect.... i purchesed the gm spindle adapters to cross over to heim joints... and thats where the problem arises.... the angle of the adapter im sure is correct as when i matched it up to my old tie rod end.. it was perfect.. the problem seams that at one point in time someone overtightened the old tie rod ends and stretched the spindle's taper... so basically the adapter is like a flappy donkey D!<@ in the spindle... anyone know of a way i can fix this... other then going and getting another spindle...
my thoughts..
drill the hole out square and put a bolt through and bolt it on..
drill the hole and find (idk where) an insert to make the taper normal again..
NEED HELP!.. gotta fix this asap ... inspection due by end of month...
The spindle adapter ... Or tie rod end adapter to heim ... It's basically a stud either the tapered end to go through the spindle ... Google tie rod to heim joint ... They pop up everywhere
