I have been tempted to hot wire one headlight motor so that it looks like I winked

Re: Headlight wave??!! (FrankM)
I would but it takes too long. It was much simpler when I had my Supra, I would simply "flash" the high beams and the lights would pop up instantly and just for a second. With my '94 Vette, its like a major ordeal.

I do, but generally only if they light theirs up first or if it's someone I know driving another Vette.

Re: Headlight wave??!! (400Vette)
Normally I just wave. :seeya
But on occasion, I have flashed the parking/fog lights at an oncoming 'Vette. But I have never attempted to do the whole headlight thing. That would take too long.

Re: Headlight wave??!! (400Vette)
Bought my first Vette last September. Have tried the headlight wave when I've had enough time to react and allow for the headlights to awaken. So far, no response, but unless both cars are going 10 mph (unlikely!), timing has to be perfect. I have decided it is easier to wave, although I do not get much more response. Maybe because I am using the wrong finger???
