PACE sells this kit. Ported & Polished heads, LT4 intake, LT4 Hot cam, roller rockers and misc. small bits. They say it produces 429hp. Don't know about that, but I bet it boogies.
As for the age-old stick vs. auto. My .02. For a variety of reasons from being lazy to wanting to go fast, I choose the automatic....like most (if not all) drag cars. A properly set-up auto with the proper torgue convertor is hard to beat by hand. Plus I broke my shoulder a couple years back, with a stick I wouldn't have been able to drive the car. This happens to you once...and you LOVE automatics from then on. :D
