It took me five years to discover the Rolling stone CD on TOP of the cd player, and 15 bucks a ten and a five under the seat. Free lunch and some tunes.
What year? Haven't seen it in my '90 which is the M.Y. I was talking about.
My 90 also has (had) the shift light. Cruising in 5th @ 50 mph the darn light would come on. Releasing & applying throttle would turn it off for awhile. When the cluster was out the shift light bulbs & change oil light bulb were removed. Seems to me that those light features were designed for idiots not drivers.

Really, well now I'm confused, never, ever have I seen mine come on.
I did the same thing with the 87 I used to own. Did you discover the little flip storage compartment in the door's armrest? I found that while driving my 96 on the way home from Georgia. This was a perfect place to store my cell phone.

Took mine out years ago & while trying to remember exactly where it is located so you would know where to look I found it in the 90 owners manual. Page 64.

Thanks, I do not know when I would have or if I would ever found this. I checked both comparments and found a pair of sunglasses in the passenger side. lol
Not to diss anyone, but doesn't anyone read the owners manual anymore? All of these hidden features (like arm rest storage and how the parking brake works) are fully documented there. Back in my day (I know, ancient history) when you got a car you read that thing cover to cover.

one of the first things that vanish as a car changes many hands in its lifetime, I may be new to Corvettes but certainly not to car ownership.

I have not read the owners manual cover to cover but I have read a lot of it, not all, a lot of it is just common knowledge. The first mobile phone I got I read the owners manual from cover to cover because I did know how to use most of the feature and settings but most of the accessories on automobiles that were made in the 80's and 90's we know how to use at least we think we do. LOL
I did look up the door panel storage comparment in the owners manual and there is only one picture and a sentence under that it was easy to miss because I did, I read the page before and thought I read that page because of the security shade.
