Funny, I seem to discover new things on the 94 six speed at every turn. A few weeks ago while driving a sunset, the lights were put on and then I saw light shining down on the center console where the gear shift, seat controls, and suspension controls are. After pulling in the garage I discovered a very small light in the bottom of the mirror that was the source. The only thing I can figure out is it is there to see where you put your can of Coke or to see what gear you are in. I just thought it was pretty cool and never get tired of discovering things on my new hot rod. I'm still like a kid at Christmas.

I did the same thing with the 87 I used to own. Did you discover the little flip storage compartment in the door's armrest? I found that while driving my 96 on the way home from Georgia. This was a perfect place to store my cell phone.

You've probably already seen it, but in the rear cargo area, by the hatch release, there is a roll-out cargo shade to hide your stuff.

I had my '88 vert for about four years before I discovered that light.

That light is so you can see when opening your beer.

Funny you mention that. I noticed it when I was doing a stereo upgrade. It took me 9 months to figure that the cargo shade was there.

Already "discovered" the door compartments and the roll out cargo shade. Gonna jack it up soon and crawl underneath and will probably find even more things I never knew existed. Also, found a car alarm horn on drivers side under the hood mounted to wheel splash protector. Now just gotta figure out if the alarm works and how to set it etc...Oh another thing, I believe I have found the amplifier for the stereo under the storage compartment in the back on the passenger side. HMMM wonder what is under the the drivers side.

I think it's just in 94-96 door panels.

I discovered my 90 has a shift light even though it's an auto. I had it in drive instead of OD one day and that light came on. It has mood lighting in the mirror and above the door handles. Oooo, Ahhh. I discovered the cargo cover right away. It sure is chintzy though. My most amazing discovery was the rear hatch switches on the doors. I thought the only one was in the center console.

That component should be the radio receiver. The dash holds the head unit. Assuming you have the Bose system, each speaker has its' own amp. No amp in the head unit.

The compartment behind the driver's seat holds the ABS brake module. If the car has the optional Selective Ride Control, the controller for that system sits below the ABS module.

There's one you might like too Kittah....it's called rear window defroster. If you turn it on now, you could be driving by February.

You have a shift light because your car has an automatic. The six speeds have the 1-4 shift light or CAGS if you will.
