Edit scissors

Will someone please tell me how to get rid of those damn edit scissors that is there when I post something. I have noticed that 99% of you don't have them.

They appear to the left of Quote at the bottom of the page when I post something.

Everyone of us have the "edit scissors" - that's if you wanted to go behind yourself and either add, delete or correct something. Click on it and you'll see.
