Are you removing the spare tire?
What Mounting locations are you using?
Sorry about the almost month-long response time, but yes, I'm removing the spare tire. I'm mounting it to the where the brackets are that hold the back of the spare tire carrier are, and to where the front bolt is where you can lower the carrier and get the tire out.
Gotta love how life gets in the way of stuff. I've been busy with college applications, interviews, my jobs, girlfriend, volunteering, helping my parents fixing up their old house, etc.
Well the good news is that I've gotten all of the College stuff out of the way, and it's spring break. There will be at least some progress by the end of the week. Pics will be coming soon. My dad's getting pissed about all of the fiberglass taking up space in his garage.
I'm getting tired of updating this thread and then even more stuff coming up that inhibits progress on the diffuser... Anywho, I've finished laying down all of the glass today, and I'm waiting for it to dry so I can go out and sand it down tonight. Paint's coming tomorrow. Pictures later tonight, but the whole reason for me doing this got cancelled, so this whole project dropped down on my to-do list. Then about a week and a half ago it was brought back so I had to scramble together to make up for all the time that I spent doing more important things at the time.
But this thing is getting "done" before Friday. Well, at least as good as it's going to get.
It is finished! I'll get pictures of it tomorrow where I'm presenting it. It doesn't look the best, but hey, it's finished. I'm definitely going to strip the paint and really get down on making it look a lot better. It's rough, but it'll do for now!
Once the work load slows down, I'll do the testing and see if it works.
