Default Interior Question

Will the 92 to 96 Door panels bolt to the 1986 door?
I know the sail panels wont match. GM seamed to lower the screw hole for the seat belts in 1991/1992.
Any other non match items I should be aware of?
I am having a hard time finding good door panels, and all window and targa seals.
Thanks in advance.

It is possible to fit a 94 door panel on an 86 door. The later door panels will not match the contour of the earlier dashes.

It would be exceedingly difficult. It will not follow with the rest of the car however unless you do a total interior conversion

Just the dash and console, or everything including the Seats?

Mostly the door panel where it mates the dash. If you do the dash then the console wont be right yadda yadda. Its easier to get another car that is already done. However your car, your time and money do as you wish. GC

Thanks CG.
I'll probably end up taking that interior out anyways and use it as a track car. I am going to be buying another 86 from a fellow forum member that needs interior and window/targa seals also. I am also looking at two 1992 Corvettes out of Iowa, mainly for parts. Both of them have complete interiors, and the LT1 w/ 6 spd. drivetrain.
This summer is going to be a little busy, making 4 Corvettes into 3 really nice ones.
