c4 tops help

I have a 89 vette top flew off going down road, shows 89-96 top will work, i bought one off a 94, back lines up and have the frony brackets from old top, will these have to have holes drill to fit or i'm just not figuring it out?

If it is truely a 94 top and nobody has modified your car it should be a direct fit. Do the front brackets on the top look the same?

No the front ones i have from bad top are triangular, the other top just has one pin. but when i took pin off it has to holes but they won't line up w my brackets.

Sounds like you bought an 84-86.5 top. They actually are quite rare compared to the 89-96's. And no, it's not worth adapting your car, it would be easier to fix your old one.
