...I have been meaning to snap some pics for a while, I've just been lazy about it. I'll see if I can't get some for you tonight. The rear fillers really do look good. You can't even tell (from a distance) that the cutouts were ever there IMO! Are you running cats? I am running mine through cutted cats, and boy does it sound good!!
I'd appreciate the pics! By the way...did you get the fillers from Lawerance or did you fabricate them yourself? And yea...unfortunately i'm running full cats. My county in NC is starting sniffer testing in 2003 as part of the required annual "safety" inspection. So for the time being, i'm stuck with'm.
ARISA
...Did ya TIG them in place.....
... .... smartazz!
TIMSPEED
...I used Niteshade on my rear tailights...came out looking like CRAP, cuz the paint ran.
That can happen REAL easy. I found you have to apply multiple VERY thin coats and build it to keep it from running.
ROSE
Actally there is a ''leak'' somewhere and it is driving him Ab-SO-Lute_ly NUTZ!!!!!!!!!
....jeez woman.... Least you didn't explain about the hummin'bird!!!
Yes, I did purchase the filler pieces from Lawrence. They are a great fit, I don't think that there would be a better way to fill those cutouts if you ask me.
I love what you've done to your Vette! If you're going to go black, go all the way! Very  :yesnod:
...also - I'm with you, I'd do something with the back of the car. You know that you're going to keep staring at it and it's going to drive you
Thanks for the Info Howser! Will have to give them a call! I cleaned up the undercarrage a bit...but there's something that still doesn't look quite right.
Have you had a chance to snap a pic of those cutout fillers yet? I'd kinna like to see'm before i buy'm...ya know?
For anyone interested...Monday i took the vette on my normal 100 mile commute....after driving IN traffic...THROUGH construction...and finally having a little "hard driving fun" on the last 5 mile leg before the house...and when i got home the fiberglass covers over the exhaust were barely warm! The heatshields and insulation do their job!
Thanks again to all! I'm rather pleased at the way it's turning out, and appreciate the feedback! :jester

Re: Side Effects Installed!!!!! (Vette Ed)
Dewd, turn pro! Call Alchem for all your "Exhausting" needs. We (me actually) do it all but sidepipes are our (me again) speciality! Usually one day turnaroud. I fly in, install, and YOU are ready for that cruz nite! Sometimes, particularly on older systems an overnite stay may be required. I can hang at your house, drink beer, and swap Vette stories or if you're the anti-social type, put me up at the local Motel 6 (for a nominal fee) and I'll finish the next day! Your call! For app. call my beautiful, blonde, busty,(Double C is moonlighting?), secretary Jenny at 867-5309! :D

Bwaaaaaaaaa-HaHaHaHaHaHaHa!!!
Thanks for the compliment...but No Thanks!!! One set was enough for me! I'd be glad to share any insights with anyone contemplating a set...but once was enough!
I snapped some pictures for you last night, it will be this evening before I can post them (hopefully). You can really see how the fillers fill the rear cutouts. Sorry for the delay, I just bought a new camera and am having issues with the software. I should have it pegged by tonight. Thanks for your patience.
 Thanx again!!!
Will check back in a bit! I'm really anxious to see how they look! :D I know those cutouts are gonna keep "bothering" me. :(
