Default dumb question ?

I bought a little fan from walmart, like the little ones that were in school buses.I was wondering if i could put it under the hood anywhere to try to cool down the motor.any of you inventors think this will work?

I doubt it would work. It's just gonna be blowin' hot air around in there. If you're really concerned, hood scoops, or just some vents up by the cowl, will cool it down a lot. Take a look at the hood of a 1968 Shelby Mustang, or a Jaguar XKR. Something to that effect really works, plus it looks good in my opinion.

We got a guy at E-Town(his forum name escapes me), he took a hole saw and drilles out some holes in the inner wheel well. He said someone else did the same and took little fans to draw the hot air out.
With his headers I think he said he reduced underhood temp by 20 degrees.
