Just a little story I thought I'd share. I was driving to the car wash yestereday in my C4, and from a distance I see this yellow car pulling out of a subdivison. It was low and had side gills so at first I thought it was a Corvette. Than, as I get closer I realize it's a Ferrari 550 Maranello. The best part is, as he turns into the other lane, he pulls up next to me and smiles and gives me a big wave. I was like "Holy S**" I thought I was supposed to be the guy gawking over his car. It made my whole week knowing that the guy in the bright yellow ferrari thought my C4 was a cool car. :)
Cool, but one question. Why are you driving to the car wash???
Brandt, I can answer that one. Here in NJ it's illegal to wash your car at home due to the drought situation. You can go to a car wash or DIY car wash because they recycle the water.
Until further notice we can't wash cars or water lawns.

Re: C4s Respected. (Mr Mojo)
Mr Mojo is right, water police are on the prowl lately. My brother had a 1/4 bucket of water that he's using to wipe down the car last month. Just when he's done and putting the bucket on the side, a cop passes the house then slowly backed up so he can get a better view. I was standing there dumbfounded hoping that he didn't notice the water puddles. He drove away and that was that! :blueangel: Good thing he left, I believe the fines are pretty darn hefty!
I got a thumbs up from a cop today. He followed me for a bit and got besides me, gave me a thumbs up, and then he floored it. I had to hold back and let him win that race.
With that kind of disposable income, I wouldn't be surprised if he had two or three prime classic Vettes at home.
Stories like that make for a good day. My soon to be wife didn't understand until we were at the beach and a 10 year old stopped in the crosswalk to give a thumbs up.
I usually actually wash it myself, but I was kind of pressed for time so I figured I'd just drive to the pressure wash since it's only $1.25. I actually brought home a digtial cam the other day, so I was finally able to snap some pics! :)

Re: C4s Respected. (GDP)
LOL sure is. They run about $270 Grand brand new The Maranello is one of the most kick azz cars on the planet as far as OVERALL performace goes. It takes corners over 120mph like u wouldn't believe. I didn't like the Maranellos looks as much at the time till they came out with the Barchetta(A convertible-targa-type version of the maranello). Which looks absolutely awesome by the way. But still they kick azz. Very  story RedonRed. I bet the guy had a vette in the garage back home aswell. One piece of advice though.......................lol don't race that guy. I don't know of many Diablos let alone vettes that could dust a Maranello or equiv on the straightaway. what's so awesome is that Ferrari owners are like vette owners though. They stick together. Any azzhole can be haulin a diablo but it's the really cool peeps u hear about in Ferraris.........just like vettes.

I know how you feel i got a thumbs up from a brand new 911 convertable at a light :yesnod:
The one Porsche I truly love.......well along with the "S" types for the 911s. Kick azz. One thing I thought I might share with everyone that may not know this..............I dunno if there are any porsche extreme fans out there.........but this blew my mind. I actually noticed that every single porsche even the 911 GT2's in stock..........even the Twin Turbo cooled one's run on.....get this................*drum roll* ...................................a V6!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!(Or a flat 6........but nonetheless a 6!!!!!!!!!) Amazing huh?????????? All this time some of the most ultimate supercars in the world are so efficient that they run off of v6s. Some of you may not think that's so impressive but it blew me away when I noticed it. Just thought I'd share that with everyone :) . If you don't believe me.......check out new Porsche Specs even the 2003s!!!!!!
Just curious, How are the insurance rates on your Vette? I lived in N.J. for ten years (84-94, courtesy of the U.S. Air Force). I remember the insurance rates being ridiculous on ALL vehicles I've owned when I resided there. Needless to say, I don't miss N.J. at all! I hope the drought situation ends for you guys up there. :seeya
