Buffing and polishing up my 90 black Vette this week. Taken about 2 evenings to get the buffing done and almost the polishing complete. I was lazy last year and had a detail shop do it for $125 just for a polish. I tell ya now, I have worked harder than I have for a long time and my arms / shoulders are very sore today, but my Vette is looking better than it has for a long time. It has a great looking mirror finish now and it beats the detail shop job last year by far. I just plug in a little Stevie Ray Vaughn into the CD, a Coke to drink and I'm having a great time. Our local car show is next week and I want it looking great by then and I think it will. The joy of owning a Vette!!!! :seeya
My brother has buffed out both of my cars, and he said the same thing. He put in a good 10 hours in the GS. :yesnod: She l;ooks sweet now!!! Worth the work. Now, I take care of them better than the original owner's, so hopefully no more of that. :)

Re: Buffing 90' Black Vette (Alchemist)
D00d!!!!!!!! I gotta use that Zaino shiz. Man I wouldn't think twice about it if I could wait that long in between polishings. I hate havin to polish the vette. My arm goes from rock solid after the first 8 hours.........to dead asleep after 9. One question.............I've used alot of stuff.........including Nu Finish with that petroleum stuff. Does this Zaino powder after it dries? That's the prob I've come to realize after alot of stuff I used. But man alchemist that looks DAMN nice after 3 friggin months of polihing. I'm lucky if I can go a week after polishing mine.

Re: Buffing 90' Black Vette (LLband)
Can't say I envy that kinda work. I'm there almost every 2 weeks at least. I gotta find a new method of polishing/waxing. LMFAO Stevie Ray Vahn
Yea...i put the initial (and only) Zaino this year on back in mid March!!! Head over to the Car Car section for DOZENS of testimonials about Zaino like mine. Not everyone loves the stuff...it IS expensive to get started...but in the long run the cost isn't that much higher.
No...there's NO "dust" or white powder to deal with either. GREATLY reduced static to attract dust, and IMHO the best shine around (and i've used ALL the major brands/systems for clearcoats).
