Got back on Sunday from a 2800 mile plus trip with the 96. Car ran great averaged 23 mpg best was 27, only casualty was we lost the cruise control half way. Covered 15 states, full car including 2 beach chairs and several bags each. We were both very comfy and that was a few days of 9 or 10 hours in the car. If you were thinking of taking the vette on a trip I give it thumbs up. A few pics of our stops including the NCM, which we arrived the day after the 2014 was on display, would have liked to see that in person.

Nice! Did you buy a raffle ticket on any of the Corvettes they have offered there?
I hope you did not buy one for the "Jake" C6 because it is going to be mine.

Funny thing Ron, they lost your tickets. I actually didn't buy any so you still have a chance.
sounds like a fun trip! your mileage was pretty darn good?! any idea what caused the cruise control to fail? thanks for sharing the pics!! did you take any other pics of the trip?
Car looks great, and the trip sounds like a blast! I too will be embarking on a long trip, 2000 miles, this Sunday. Heading from AZ back to Michigan for a beautiful Midwestern summer.

I was very happy with the milage, beats 15 in the Tundra. No idea why it quit and didn't even check yet. Yes pics in Lincolns birthplace in Ky, Lookout Mt Tn and Manassas Va

Mine was great hope yours is as uneventful as mine was.
Nice pics I made the trip to Bowling Green last year and really wish I'd had a whole week to just drive around the Kentucky/Tennessee area. Loved it out there and definitely have to make another trip that way.
