Default High beam indicator light doesn't work

I have just purchased 1985 Corvette. When I did the test drive my high beam indicator dash light was working. The first time out at night it didn't. Are there any common things I should be looking for? Is there easy access to the bulb?. At this time I don't have an owners manual.

Hoping there is some out there who can help.

Gord

You need to remove the instrument panel bezel to get to the bulb. The headlight **** has a clip that needs to be released to get it off the shaft. There is a notch in the bottom of the **** for that. The bezel wraps around and there is one screw at the very front that is sorta hidden (and hard to get to). I use a stubby Philips for that one.

The high beam and turn signal bulbs are #74.
