I've actually seen that Vette a few times since I live 30 miles east of Springfield. I go there quite often. It's a shame we lost another Corvette, but it's good to hear the occupants survived.

I agree, glad that no one hurt but hate to see a C4 lost. Everyone make sure to check them tires! That's why I hadn't driven mine because they looked a little dry rotted. But since got my new nitto's on I been putting the miles on!
it had to have been a blowout at a pretty high speed.. i recently had a blowout at 72mph in my 94 on the left front and i was able to guide the car safely off the highway and get the tire changed.
the most important thing is that both occupants were not seriously harmed. just goes to show you how safe a car the C4 is.
