84 barn find !
as stated earlier ... depends on mileage, condition etc .... Then it just depends on what you're willing to invest ....
The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts

Again, IMO the 84 will be worth the least of any year. 1. There were a lot of them made, 2. CFI is generally not desired, 3. If needed interior parts, paint, etc. alone could cost you more then you would be able to sell the car for. 4. Off the bat, you will need tires and a battery, belts, hoses, etc.
Don't make the mistake, as many of us have, buy a c4 as a fixer upper and expect to get your money out of it. Its going to be a long time until the c4 is going to be considered a collectable car. (dollar value wise)
Now let me go
as I feel sure I will get flamed for that remark.
I wouldnt touch anything sitting in a barn for that many yrs. Well maintained finds are a lot more satisfying.
You never know why it was parked. Coule be ready to puke a major mechanical or simply put away due to????
Of course, if you're looking for an investment, cars are never a sure thing.

The problem comes in though where rubber seals and parts are concerned. They can and will deteriorate and you'll be finding them for the next 4 years.
