I just went into the restoration section of the forum and looked at the cloth convertible top for my 1990. Has anyone ordered one through here? If so, how hard was the installation? Thanks in advance!
never mnd, i have a new gm tan top on the new frame still in the box. just checking. this one bolts on. new weather stripping, new head liner, new everything.
it was bought for a 95 but never installed. it cost $3800 from gm but im trying to get around 2k for it. the problem is no one needs the frame. if someone needed the top and weather stripping replaced this is the deal. by the time you bought the weather stripping and had that installed you would spend 2k.
i love it. atlanta traffic is not about hp it is about lb's. people get out of its way. i am going to get all that gray stuff painted black in 3 weeks. i think that will look better. the truck is great for me. it holds all my tools in the back and i can carry passangers at the same time. when i need a pick up i can do that too. it pulls my 7300 pound hauler at 85 mph with no problem. this is just what i needed. the right tool for the job.
