Can anyone tell me if these exact rims would fit on a 96 LT4 car with a 315-35-17 tire on the rear..Are these the correct offset, back spacing, lug pattern? if so,would they look good?.Im a noob so go easy on me..Thanks guys..
The lug pattern should be the same.
The back spacing isn't exacting what your needing though.
The 11" GS wheel had a backspacing of 50mm
The 9.5" front wheel was 56mm
But I do have a couple of pictures of what they would look like on a '96.
I spotted this car on Power Tour a few years ago, and the wheels look good on it.
I am not sure what the specs were on his wheels though, just that they were Torq Thrust II
They will fit but will not be "hubcentric." The Camaro has a 73 m rear hub, while the Corvette has a 70 mm rear hub. To put a Corvette fitment on a Camaro there is a 3 mm by 1 mm ridge that needs to be dremeled off. On a Camaro fitment it is not there to begin with. So you have a 73 mm center fitting on a 70 mm hub. No problem as the lug nuts take the stress, not the hub anyhow.

If they don't make the correct center hub size...They also make spacer rings to take up that gap. You fit it between the wheel hub and center hub. Not sure how much of a necessity hub centric wheels are. Probably more so at higher speed.
A lot of purists might not like those, but I think they really look kick-*** on a Vette. A friend has 285's on the rear and they are just about as wide as will fit with stock offset. Don't know what the offset is on those 11" wheels but 315's are really fender fillers. If they'll fit in there they will be killer on looks!
Generally, my 93 Camaro and 93 Vette can share wheels as the stock offsets were the same. With aftermarket you need to compare their offset with the stock vette wheels.
I've assumed these tires wheels for a '96 255/45X8.5 & 285/40x9.5
The tire/wheel combination 275/40 on the front would be something very close to 1" further out towards the hood edge. That's a dimension that is generally considered acceptable. If you have 275/40x9.5 fronts it's a dimension closer to 1/2".
The tire/wheel combination 315/35 on the rear would be greater than 1" further outboard towards the quarter lip. That's somewhat more than a 50mm offset that is considered optimal. You need to determine if it "suits" you. You could drop a "plumb-bob" from the quarter edge and measure from your side wall to the string. Tire branding could effect the fit somewhat. You could do the same on the hood edge for the front.
If your wheel/tire combination isn't what I mentioned now then all needs to be redone. Post yours if you know!
You need to ask the eBay seller for the wheel center-bore, if it's larger than 70.3 then hub-rings would be desired. Not a big issue BUT it's a question that needs asked and it's something that needs addressed when the wheel fit is done.
