Howdy Folks!!...
I'm a newbie to this site, but I've had several C-4's This one is a 1988 35th Ann. Coupe. My problem is that she idles rough, and you have to press on the accelerator while cranking to get her to start. That rings the old "Idle Control Motor" bell, but I can't find a schematic that show where it is, or more importantly, a stock number so I can order one. Does Vette have something different that does this chore? Any help appreciated.
It could also be the TPS sensor is out of range what you need to do is get a volt meter and check the tps.
The blue(middle wire on my 90) wire is the power, you can ground it anywhere you can get a ground, turn the key to the on(not running) position, look and see what the reading is, I have mine set between 0.50 and 0.58V.
Mine starts OK I'm fighting with a wandering idle at the moment
