I tried to do a search and really didn't find anything.
I guess I'm going to have to tackle this project. I recently got my windows tinted and the passenger side is already screwed up because of the worn pad. Plus the outside of the window is already scratched up at the front.
So, my obvious question is...how hard are these to get to and replace? Is there a trick to it? I saw ecklers had a set of 4 for$30 which isn't bad.
Is there a tutorial or some diagrams online that help?
Thank again for all if your help.
Mike
Darn - I was going to watch this for information. I need both the felt pads and new weatherstripping. The old, dried-out, split rubber at the window bottom will practically cut your hand when the window is down.
It actually wasn't the felt pads on mine.
I took the door panel off and there an odd shaped metal thing in there that does something to guide the window up near the top. I just adjusted it till it wasn't touching the window anymore.
