Some have used Dr. Don to keep their Delco-Bose chugging along. I have both rear speakers that don't work. Just humm. The amps are bad and the goo has leaked out. The speaker assys look quite fresh actually. Just those bad amps.
Two rear amps repair at Dr. Don $100 each + $20 shipping and lifetime warrentee.
This may be a little smart *** but just wanted to know is Dr. Don a 1 or 2 man operation? Or a sizable electronics company. Just wanted to judge what a lifetime warrentee means. I'm 60 so I'll probably need 15 years or so of that warrentee.
Yes, I'm keeping the Bose so I'm not going to be talked in to something else. I just want to know about the good Dr.

I can't speak to the warranty issue, but I can to the quality of Dr. Don's work. I used him 2 or 3 years ago to rebuild my amps. Work was excellent and the turnaround time was a bit quicker than I expected.
I can't say for sure, but he may be a one man operation. This is not necessarily a bad thing; you know that the person doing the work knows what he's doing and not a 17 year old high school drop out. Don is very responsive, returns call quickly and is generous with his time. Good guy to deal with and really knows the Bose system.
