I'm in the process of replacing the antenna on my 1994 coupe. I have been able to go as far as finding where the group of wires, attached to the motor, plug into the wiring harness, and have not been to find the plug. I have a Haynes manual but it is worthless. There are 2 paragraphs and none of the info leads me to this plug. I have removed the speaker as directed--no plug. I have pulled back the carpet in the cargo area--no plug. I have no idea as to where these wires go. They just disappear into a metal pannel directly above the plastic rear inner pannel. Any and all suggestions are welcome.Phil
Phil, I know this doesn't answer your original question, but are you sure the whole assembly needs to be replaced?? If you can still hear the antenna motor running, but the antenna doesn't go up, or goes up part way, you may be able to replace just the antenna mast and cable ( $30.00 to $50.00) and not the whole unit which is at least ($200.00)..This can be the easy fix more then you would think...Hope this helps.....WW
Thanks WW, but I have already tried the replacement mast, and had no success getting it to work. It appeared to seat but would never retract when the ignition was shut off. Three people including my self have spent over 2 hours trying to get the mast to work. Thanks Again! I appreciate the help.Phil
You have to remove that trim around the back of the cargo area. There's a cavity back in there where the wire bundle comes through. All I can say is Good F****** Luck getting the grommet back in place afterwards. It's a miserable job and unless the car is on a lift it can be brutal. I almost removed the left muffler for a little more elbow room while laying on the ground. I still never got the one ground wire back on the motor but it seems to be grounded well enough via the harness.

I feel for you.
it's a pain in the a$$. I used some Vaseline on the grommet and it took some good effort. Some long extensions help with the motor ground wire etc. like tbird said, it's under the trim. Mine was wrapped in foam...
