Default Interior detailing question

Occasionally, a little Armor All over spray will get on the matte black dash and console components of my '85. It spots them up pretty good.

Plain soap and water aren't getting it off and I'm deathly of harsh solvents attacking the paint on my rare early 4+3 w/PW console that took me years to find.

Any suggestions, other than the obvious hose the whole thing in Armor All?

I would never use armor all on my vettes or any other cars interior that I even slightly care about.

If you absolutely need to use Armor All, spray it on some soft, cotton cloth, then wipe it on whatever surface needs it. Way easier to control it this way.

I agree - Never use Armor All - It will leave a film that attracts dust and dirt like a magnet.

I like either Mother's Vinyl, Leather, Rubber care

Okay, now that we've covered to not do it, is there an answer to the actual question?

Or is the answer to a question about fixing accident damage "don't get into an accident"?

Good point whats done is done now move on to the fix. Try posting over in Car Care Products here on the Forum and they may have someone over there that can help. I don't have any answers because I haven't used that product in years.

Maguire's Leather Wipers, works good to. Again it is on the cloth, much easier to control.
