I use mequires clay bar before waxing then use Mequires glaze and then wax sometimes I skip the glaze but always use a clay bar

I clay bar the red vet with a good detailer and then use Adams buttery car wax. Easy to apply and remove can be applied in the sun. Best I have ever used.

It is called 'marketing'....... drove my ruby for 12 years.... the ruby color seems to show dust more than other colors, so I hand dusted/polished it daily ......used most kinds of wax......from 10-year-old plain carnauba to today's hi-tech gloss...........saw no difference in shine, only the ease of application and removal provided by the newer wax.
Machine or hand application & removal provided no difference in shine...... If tending to paint conditions (swirls, scratches) then, yes, a machine finish will provide better results.
Professionals have their opinion, and I have mine (from experience)...no problem
