A/C Fan
I have a 96, just wondering how hard the air cond fan should blow when its on max ac? when I put my other cars on max, its a pretty high flow fan but my corvette seems like its running on 3 out of 10 in comparison. It cools down pretty good but just seems like the blower could be a bit more powerful. Is this standard, is it just a week blower/fan. Just wondering if I could do anything to crank it up a bit

I have the same issue with my '95. I assumed a plug cabin air filter, but the car doesn't have one. I pulled the blower and vacuumed out the box and the inlet to the evaporator, but that didn't help. I wonder if someone makes a more powerful blower? If not, I guess I will have to live with running the fan on max all the time.

It maybe time for a blower fan replacement. When mine was going out you could bang the fan surround with a rubber hammer to change the pitch. They just wear out. Fairly cheap. Just pull the housing clean up with a vaccum while you are in there. Relax the inner fender on the passenger side. Pull the motor and swap the squirrel cage and reinstall.
