I've been working on a project for about a year now and have finally seen it through to the prototype stage. I used to have a 70 Cougar and loved the sequential tail lights. Well, I got the bug and decided to create a sequential tail light circuit for my vette. I finally finished development about 2 weeks ago and installed the prototype set on my car, they work and look GREAT. I've shown them to a few of my friends with vettes and they want me to build sets for them. I still have a couple of minor details to work out but I am planning on offering them for sale as kits very soon. I'm wondering how many people with 'Vettes would be interested in buying a set of these for their car. I'm planning on selling them for $75 a set, and if you live in the Houston area I will install them for an additional $30. If you would like further information about these kits send me an email
How about a vid of them in action? I like the sequential tail lights on the 1967 and 1968 Shelby Mustangs. Sooooo sweet, but they were used from the Thunderbirds of the '50s.
I installed a set on my car about two years ago. I got them from a guy that made them himself and sold them on his own website. I guess he is doing well because his website address takes you to a new site with a new name. But it looks like the same product. I paid $60. and they are now priced at $65. It looks as if folks are buying his so you should be able to market yours. If I need another set I'll look you up. Good luck, I hope find a market for them. It is normal for the outside lamp NOT to light the first time. GM sockets can be cranky, so if the inside or outside lamps don’t light, wiggle the lamp in socket or try slapping the lens.
