36 or 44 ?

I've used the search function but I can't find an answer to the simple question.
Is the 1990 RPO GT7 3:33 axle ratio a Dana 36 or 44. Thanks in advance.

Except for a few in 84, all rear ends with a ratio of over 3:08 were D44's. All six speed cars had D44's.

It's for sure a D44 and a very hard ratio to find. If it's in a "driving car" and quiet I wouldn't consider disassembling it to do a different ratio. I believe I'd buy a different and change it and resell the 3.33
assembled. It's worth quite a bit more assembled than a 3.33 used gear under the bench. You didn't mention your intentions so maybe it's irrelevant. If some one is selling and asking a premium price he might very well get the premium.

The car is very much a driver. It's a 90 convert with 58000 miles I bought in June. I don't plan on any major changes. I was just curious mainly from reading posts here on the forum.
