interesting thread, My 95 base rides bad an I looked under the rear and there are two cheap looking red shocks on there. Frt has Blistens. So will order the KYB shocks also.

If your car is an '84 don't count on the shocks doing all that you ask of them. If the spring on your car is the original it is "next" to the stiffest ever done for the C4. Only the '84 Z51 was "stiffer". If money isn't an issue you might want to hold on to it until the job is done. Did you have them get you the code off of the spring that's there now?

The above statement couldnt be further from the truth....the KYB gas Adjustables did EXACTLY what I wanted...which was take the sensation of feeling EVERY crack in the road...listened to my mechanic and got the results I've been looking for....loving the new ride....

I'd say I was pretty much "right on" - I mentioned a "relationship" was important and your choice offered up a less expensive alternative and mentioned your own first choice was a "poor one"!

I mentioned not counting on the shocks to do all that you asked of them - It seems they've made you happy so you're fortunate. Perhaps you might point out the "further from the truth".

Should have put a WTB add on the forum. I have a rear FE1 in fantastic shape and would have let it go for probably half of what you paid for yours.
