It doesn't matter. Last year when premium was $2.25 a gallon I ran mid grade. No effect at all. This year premium is $1.99 a gallon so I run that.
L-98 LT-1 mid grade is fine. The lawn mower gas is a no-no. No less than mid grade for me.

Same here, and it's usually leaving the post office, when I floor it to accelerate to the 60 MPH traffic, going uphill. It doesn't knock when I put in 92 or higher. It's even more critical in winter to get the higher octane, I'm guessing because of that other MTBE crap they put in the fuel around here. (Both cars feel the difference majorly with winter gas). :( My '70 gets 94 every time or she's a complete basket case. :crazy:
