Found a set of CCWs at a local store and today I asked what size they were.. 5x120 19', it is destiny that they will fit right.. well they are 19' 11 wide +25 offset back and 19' 9 wide +23 upfront. Would this actually work or no ?? now I might have gotten the offsets mixed up and 25 front 23 back, would it work either way just to be sure?
For your car, those offset will be way off. Stock wheels on your car have a 56mm offset. So the wheels would stick out that difference which is about 32mm or 1-1/4".
Also if the bolt pattern is 5x120, IIRC that's a BMW pattern, The bolt pattern for most all GM cars with a 5-bolt hub is 5x120.6mm or 4-3/4". Some say that the 5x120 will work, but... Also ask if the wheels are hub-centric. It may be that the wheels will not fit over the rim on the hub.
There are 19" tires that will have close to the same diameter of the 275/40-17 tires but with that huge offset difference, a wider tread width of the 19" tires "may" rub on the edges of the wheelwell or on the frame.
Sorry I always forget to add the year and hopefully remember halfway through my post and add it in, I think I want to do a 17 front and 18 back with the proper offsets, and YES it is a 96
