Default Push vs Pull clutches

I'm going into my LT4 with ZF6 soon because of a problem with the clutch pivot or the release/throwout lever. I'm thinking of pulling the dual mass flywheel and going with a Spec clutch & solid steel flywheel while I'm in there. I've never been into a Vette clutch before, so I'm not up to speed on how a "pull" type clutch works. Is the replacement clutch from Spec a direct replacement or do they require some kind of conversion kit to work? From those who have done this, where can I find out about all the pieces I need to do this job in one siting without any surprises half way through?

the devils in the details; clutch ball stud and clutch fork are apparently getting increasingly hard to find and if yours are worn and or damaged and you can't find replacements then a stock pull type clutch isn't gonna work regardless of who manufactured it.

push type clutches aren't per se any more expensive but do require a combination throw out bearing / slave cylinder which mounts inside the bellhousing and is quite expensive.

moral of story ? do your homework first and see what is, and isn't available and/or in your price range. good luck
