I did do a lot of searching here on the forum but couldn't find an answer so here goes the question.
I installed a after market radio and everything was working fine up till about 2 weeks ago. Well the issues is the radio still works but doesn't power the door speakers or the dash speakers now.
What can be the issue for 4 speakers to stop working like that.
Not sure about 84's, but most Bose speakers have their own amp on each speaker and not on the head unit, so you should have changed out the Bose speakers too! What type of radio did you get?
If the ctsy/clk and/or radio fuse is not blown, good chance it is the Bose amp relay that is failed.
The relay is a bitch to replace, so let's hope it's a fuse problem.

Is it a bose system in your car?
Is it a bose radio?
You don't have an issue with the Bose system. The Bose system is the issue. Its unadulterated CRAP. You need to completely remove all the Bose components. The factory system was designed by Bose to GM specs. (CHEAP) just to have bragging rights that 'vettes come with a Bose system. It is absolute junk. Even the cheapest aftermarket components will sound 100% better than the Bose and be trouble free.
I would bet you couldn't find more than five people who have owned C4's that never had an issue with it. Check around the vette forums and you'll find tons of articles on system change outs from mild to wild.
And, they all did it for one reason, Bose blows.

Did you install the proper parts to mate the aftermarket radio to the Bose equipment?
